Debra Houry, MD, MPH is the Director of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) at CDC. In this role, Dr. Houry leads innovative research and science-based programs to prevent injuries and violence to reduce their consequences.
Dr. Houry is the John Pryor Visiting Professorship guest, and she will be giving grand rounds on November 6th at 9am in the Flyers - Sixers Conference Room at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The title of her talk is "The Opioid Overdose Epidemic: Providers on the Frontlines of Medicine and Public Health".
