ABOUT US

We are a multi-disciplinary group of faculty and staff dedicated to designing and executing research and training the next generation of leaders at the intersection of emergency care and health care delivery science. Center members are engaged in a wide range of topics, many funded by the NIH, PCORI, and the CDC, focusing on concepts relating to health care delivery, financing, access to care, local and federal policy, patient safety and quality. We have unique and renowned expertise in knowledge translation, implementation science, addiction science, opioid prescribing and treatment interventions, and injury prevention science. Our group includes leaders and core faculty from acclaimed Penn programs such as the Penn Injury Science Center (PISC), Urban Health Lab (UHL), National Clinician Scholars Program (NCSP), the Penn Masters in Health Policy Research (MSHP), the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics (LDI), the Center for Health Economics of Treatment Interventions for Substance Use Disorder, HCV and HIV (CHERISH), the Penn Center for Digital Health, the Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation (CHCI) and the Center for Health Care Incentives and Behavioral Economics (CHIBE).
