Former Medical Student Fellow, Dr. Max Jordan Nguemeni Tiako partnered with Dr. Gina South and Dr. Zack Meisel to study the impact that tree canopy cover in urban residential areas has on perceived prenatal stress. In this novel study, the team found that tree canopy cover in residential areas was associated with less perceived prenatal stress, especially for those who had histories of depression or anxiety.
